STEPHANIE BINGHAM RECEIVES THE 2023 AIA COLORADO  PRESIDENT’S AWARD 

SEPTEMBER 20, 2023 – Boulder, CO – AIA Colorado, the Colorado Chapter of The American Institute of  Architects, announced the 2023 Design + Honor Awards recipients, recognizing Colorado architecture  firms, projects, and architects for outstanding design and exemplary service. 

The President’s Award recognizes a community member in Colorado who has significantly contributed  to the advancement of architecture from a vantage point outside of a firm or a traditional practice  career. 

For more than two decades Stephanie has put her rare blend of talent, motivation and civic spirit  toward promoting architecture in Boulder. She joined HMH in 2014 and was made a partner in 2021. As  Marketing & Operations Director, Stephanie oversees the day-to-day processes of the office including  operations, marketing and outreach, public relations, Website updates and improvements and special  projects, such as the annual “MONTH OF MODERN” event in Boulder – a celebration of architecture,  design, lifestyle, art and culture. 

The goal of Month of Modern is to create a platform where the Colorado design community can come  together to discuss and exchange ideas to improve the overall quality of design in the area. Month of  Modern has put Boulder back on the map for recognition of the values that the design professions  contribute to our lifestyle. 

As a member of the Board of Directors of Historic Boulder Inc. Stephanie leads their public relations efforts to advocate for the preservation of important historic works of architecture in Boulder.  Preservation is a form of architectural environmental conservation, which is a passion for Stephanie.  She is contributing to the efforts of Historic Boulder Inc. to develop a new series of self-guided tours of  Mid-Century Modern architecture, hosted on an app called PocketSights.

I have learned from the best. Moving forward, I am dedicated to championing our  architecture community and providing a platform for debate, dialog, and knowledge of design in  Colorado.
