Event Description

The College of Political Knowledge has long stood as Boulder’s go-to launchpad for Boulder City Council Races—an opportunity for community members to hear directly from those who’ve been in the arena.

This free, nonpartisan event is open to the public and represents one of the best opportunities to learn what it truly takes to run for Boulder City Council or Mayor. Whether you're considering a run for office or simply want to better understand the process, this program offers a valuable behind-the-scenes look at local leadership and campaigns.

This year’s program brings together elected officials, media professionals, and elections experts to share candid insights and practical guidance. It’s also a unique opportunity to connect directly with local leaders and explore what it takes to serve the Boulder community.
