Event Description:
During the month of October, Boulder Transportation Connections and the City of Boulder worked together to promote the City's Shared Streets project. In response to COVID-19 and as part of the city’s Vision Zero program, the City of Boulder temporarily turned select streets into “Shared Streets”. The Shared Streets create safer public spaces for recreation and social distancing and connect residents to the city’s multi-use path system and bike lanes. BTC hosted walk along and bike alongs throughout the various different projects around the city. Together, the two entities are providing opportunities for the public to provide feedback on the program, and insights on how the Shared Streets program worked for the Boulder community.
