Talking About Trauma and the Process of Grief
We are strong. We are resilient. We are also tired. Tired of juggling work-life balance during a pandemic. Tired of violence that has been erupting across America since last summer –  and brought to our home just weeks ago.
How do we keep ourselves, our families, and our communities healthy when the trauma feels like it never ends. How do we make sure that we don’t normalize tragedy and become numb to our natural responses?

Join our
Business Women's Leadership Group for a special presentation from Jillian Morrison with Mental Health Partners of Colorado. Jillian will walk us through normal responses to trauma and educate us on how we can help ourselves, and others, to better understand and process grief.
There is nothing romantic about suffering. But when others are present to suffering, that presence begins to tend our wounds. When we allow ourselves to be changed by the experience of another’s pain, we build bonds with people we once called strangers. Sharing in one another’s grief can also lead to sharing in one another’s joy.” - Valarie Kaur
