Electrical Engineer II

Hygge Power is looking for Electrical Engineers to simulate, test, and drive the development of their first product, OPO (Orchestrated Power Outlet). OPO is a plug & play connected hardware device that manages and stores energy so customers can live power interruption free, save money, and reduce their environmental impact.
Currently in Alpha development, this role will be key to a successful beta product and market launch, in addition to responsibility for driving & designing future products and revisions.
Key Technical Skills:
Analog and digital circuits simulation, design, and troubleshooting
Component selection and testing
Circuit schematic capture (layout ability a plus)
Familiar with power supplies a plus
Design and verify electrical circuits
Use analysis, modeling and prototyping to create electromechanical systems
Assures product quality by creating electrical test procedures; testing finished products and system capabilities
Confirms system and component capabilities by creating test procedures for component properties.
