Autobiographical Storytelling Workshop Expressing the Heart of Restorative Justice with Motus Theater
Tuesday, September 1, 2026 (2:00 PM - 5:00 PM) (MDT)
Description
Join Motus Theater’s Artistic Executive Director & Founder, Kirsten Wilson, for an interactive, expressive storytelling workshop exploring the power of personal narrative to communicate the impact of restorative justice. Participants will engage in an embodied writing experience designed to help identify and craft compelling stories rooted in their own experiences with restorative justice.
Together, we’ll explore how personal stories can illuminate why restorative justice matters, build understanding and connection, and inspire change across a variety of contexts, from community engagement and partnership-building to advocacy, testimony, and fundraising. Kirsten is an award-winning master teacher of the autobiographical monologue form.
