The University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR) established Friends of the National Center as an alumni and community engagement program in support of the NSF National Center for Atmospheric Research and UCAR’s Community Programs. The Friends mission extends to fundraising for STEM education, early-career initiatives, DEI programs, and innovation.
