About
The mission of Meals on Wheels of Boulder is to provide nutritious meals and a daily well-being check to Boulder residents, regardless of age or income. Founded in 1969, Meals on Wheels of Boulder is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, located in Boulder, Colorado.
We provide healthy and high-quality meals to people who truly need them. We serve the lonely, isolated, often invisible members of our community who are not able to shop for or prepare their own meals. Our clients are able to maintain health longer, age in place in their own homes and enjoy improved quality of life, independence and dignity.
We are a unique Meals on Wheels with our own corner market called The Niche Market, and our community café, The Eat Well Café. Both serve fresh food to the public created by our chefs. The Niche Market has Grab & Go, Heat & Eat and Take & Bake items at our building, 3701 Canfield Street and is open M-F from 9 am - 6 pm. The Eat Well Café, located at 909 Arapahoe - West Age Well Center, is a community café open to all ages and appetites, M-F from 11 am - 1 pm for lunch. Choose from two entrees each weekday, add a cup of soup/side salad, dessert and beverage for only $7.99 - the full meal deal. Groups and parties are welcome by contacting sara@mowboulder.org.
We also started our own food brand, Think Goodness Foods, consisting of quiches, pies, and soups. This line is also handcrafted by our chefs, freshly frozen, and ready to take and bake or heat and eat.Think Goodness Foods items are available at both The Niche Market and The Eat Well Café.
All proceeds from The Niche Market, Think Goodness Foods, and The Eat Well Café, benefit Meals on Wheels of Boulder.
