Description

When: Thursday, March 12th, 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

Where: Boulder Chamber - 2440 Pearl St.

Boulder Chamber Transportation Connections, in partnership with the City of Boulder and Via Mobility Services, hosts quarterly meetings on the latest local and regional multimodal transportation issues, programs and insights.

Join us in March to network, share ideas, and learn about three exciting topics:

  • Transit-Accessible Townhomes: Architects Katherine Vanderspek and Peter Weber of Coburn will share about their work to build transit-accessible infill housing in Boulder, featuring a new project on Folsom Street.
  • A Boulder Future, Revealed: The team behind the brand-new, reimagined Boulder Valley Comprehensive Plan update will reveal the draft plan, hot off the presses! Learn about what makes this major update distinctive, including changes to the vision for our land use and transportation systems.
  • Neighborhood EcoPass Expansion: Allison Moore-Farrell of the City of Boulder's Transportation and Mobility Department and Jyotsna Khattri from RTD will discuss the history and future of the neighborhood EcoPass (NECO Pass) program in Boulder and what last year's Transit Reform legislation (SB25-161) means for increased access to that important activity asset.

Plus, a bonus preview of our collaboration with The New Local to inspire First Friday gallery visitors in Boulder to hop on the "Art Ride"!

This meeting is for anyone interested in transportation access and sustainability in Boulder, business and government professionals in the community, human resources and facilities managers, and Employee Transportation Coordinators (ETCs) representing Boulder businesses. Our meetings are a great way to stay up to date on local transportation news.
