Crossroads Medical Center is seeking a part-time medical assistant. This is a warm and welcoming small family practice with a wonderful staff and a positive work culture. Crossroads Medical Center is focused on providing individualized, high-quality care and fostering long-term relationships with patients. The practice was founded in 1998 and is locally owned and operated by a female Nurse Practitioner.

Schedule

Schedule: Tuesday (7:45a-4:30p), Thursday (7:45a-5:00p), Friday (7:45a-12:30p) *Schedule is subject to change. Preferred Start date: Tuesday, May 12th, 2026

Job Type: 

Part-time. Expected hours: 22.75 per week

Specific Duties:

• Work in conjunction with medical providers and all other staff to ensure that patients obtain the highest standard of healthcare.
• Document within the electronic health record: document all care given, maintain patient health history/medications/allergies appropriately, document quality measures.
• Assure patients are notified of laboratory, imaging, and other results as directed by the providers.
• Adhere to all standards, protocols, and laws surrounding patient confidentiality, including HIPAA.
• Obtain and record data pertinent to each visit such as: vital signs and reason for visit.
• Assist with medical, surgical, and gynecological procedures i.e. EKGs, vision tests, ear irrigation, IUD and Nexplanon insertions and removals.
• Perform autoclave sterilization of instruments.
• Adhere to infection control policies.
• Collect, process, and record laboratory tests, including drawing blood, handling urine samples, and obtaining nose and throat cultures.
• Administer immunizations and medications, including intramuscular and subcutaneous injections.
• Administrative work including scheduling, insurance verification, answering phones, faxing, coordinating care with other healthcare facilities, responding to records requests.
• Respond appropriately to medical emergencies.

Education: 

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current or past enrollment in a MA certification program is preferred, but not required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• This position is eligible for apprenticeship in partnership with Front Range Community College (FRCC). Apprenticeship is a combination of on-the-job training at Crossroads Medical Center and Medical Assistant classes at FRCC. If interested in enrolling in apprenticeship or are already enrolled in FRCC's Medical Assistant program, please note that in your application. Participation in apprenticeship is optional and not a requirement of this position.

Hourly Wage: 

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
