Compensation: $225,000–$300,000 base + performance incentives
Travel: Quarterly visits to Atlanta HQ, plus 1–3 client/site visits per month


A fast-growing national provider of event production and in-house venue services is conducting a confidential executive search for a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to unify and scale revenue across its core divisions.

This opportunity is ideal for a strategic-yet-hands-on commercial leader who thrives in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment and is eager to drive measurable growth through team leadership, data-driven execution, and clear go-to-market strategy.

The Role

The CRO will report directly to the CEO and oversee revenue strategy and performance across two established business units—Event Production and Venue Services. While a strong sales infrastructure is already in place, the CRO will be responsible for refining strategy, optimizing operations, and accelerating scalable revenue growth. They will manage division-level SVP Sales leaders and collaborate closely with account management, project delivery, and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own cross-divisional revenue strategy, forecasting, pipeline health, and margin contribution

  • Lead national sales efforts across live event production and venue-based services

  • Strengthen pricing discipline, client targeting, and long-term account growth

  • Collaborate with internal SVPs to tailor distinct strategies for each business unit

  • Define and execute go-to-market strategies for new services and offerings

  • Elevate team performance through coaching, process improvement, and accountability

  • Cultivate a data-driven, collaborative sales culture aligned with company values

Success Will Look Like

  • Growth in revenue and EBITDA across both divisions

  • Increased sales pipeline velocity and win rates

  • Margin improvement through better client mix and pricing

  • Expansion of recurring revenue via venue and multi-year client contracts

  • Strong alignment and trust built with existing sales leadership

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years in senior sales/revenue leadership roles; CRO or ready-to-step-up VP from a larger org

  • Background in AV production, event services, hospitality, or related B2B sectors

  • Strong track record of leading revenue teams through tech-enabled growth and change

  • Experience with P&L management and GTM strategy execution

  • Skilled in both strategic planning and hands-on leadership; thrives in a high-autonomy culture

  • Executive presence with the communication skills to influence across levels

  • Comfortable managing peers, earning trust, and navigating cross-divisional leadership dynamics

  • Able to create followership to bring along internal team and clients.
