FunctionBoulder Chamber Transportation Connections (BCTC) seeks a detail-oriented, highly organized, results-driven, and outgoing person to join our Transportation Demand Management (TDM) team.

This TDM Program Specialist will support the expansion of BCTC’s business EcoPass management to the City of Boulder’s Central Area General Improvement District (CAGID/Downtown) and University Hill General Improvement District (UHGID). City of Boulder parking revenue subsidizes RTD EcoPasses (transit passes) for everyone who works in these special districts. Our team already manages neighborhood and business EcoPass access and activation for the Boulder Junction Access District (BJAD) and the Twenty Ninth Street Mall. We’re looking for someone who will enjoy managing the databases associated with the two additional districts, communicating with district businesses and employees, and supporting marketing and outreach campaigns to drive increased EcoPass activation and use among district employees.
ResponsibilitiesSpecial District EcoPass Facilitation:
  • Enter data and maintain accurate, up-to-date databases of CAGID and UHGID businesses and employees in Airtable and GrowthZone (the Boulder Chamber’s customer relationship management system).
  • Activate and deactivate EcoPasses in the RTD JustRide portal and maintain data in the portal as needed, in response to emails from district businesses.
  • Manage emails from special district businesses and employees with questions about EcoPass benefits.
  • Support development of forms, QR codes, and other tools to help CAGID and UHGID businesses and employees access and activate their provided EcoPasses.
  • Contact eligible businesses in the special districts that are not currently participating in the EcoPass program to support their engagement with it.
  • Produce progress reports based on records on a monthly or quarterly basis, as requested by the Senior Manager of Transportation.
  • Participate in BCTC team meetings and Boulder Chamber staff meetings as scheduled.
Customer Service:
  • Provide high-quality, professional customer service to all local business management and staff.
  • Always represent BCTC in a professional and courteous manner.
EducationRequired High School Diploma
Preferred Bachelor’s degree
Experience in database management, data entry, and customer service is preferred.
Experience in marketing and program outreach preferred. 
Experience1+ years of experience in transit/transportation, marketing and communications, event planning, direct marketing, or customer service.
Skills and Abilities






















 
Transit and Transportation - Ability to understand and explain the RTD transit system, Boulder’s overall transportation networks, and commuter options.

Project Management – Manage priorities, processes, timelines and task deliverables across a variety of overlapping projects.

Customer Service – Maintain a high level of engagement, empathy, problem-solving and communication with internal and external constituents to ensure an excellent experience with the Boulder Chamber and promote a collaborative work environment.
Organization and Multi-tasking - Be able to organize in a thorough and detail-oriented way to carry out various tasks in a fast-paced environment to meet multiple deadlines.
Technological Proficiency – Knowledge of and comfort with technology including databases, CRM platforms, website tools, and social media tools.

Communication – Excellent written, phone and verbal communication abilities.

Must be able to interact well with others and support Boulder Chamber’s priorities around diversity, inclusivity, and sustainability.
Working ConditionsThis team member will be expected to maintain a hybrid schedule, with at least two days in person at the Boulder Chamber office.
Typical Physical DemandsOperate normal business office equipment.  Must be able to travel efficiently to off-site meeting locations throughout the Boulder area. 
CompensationBetween $22 - $25/hour depending on experience
