Description
The Boulder Histories Film Festival is Boulder's newest documentary film festival. Taking place at the foot of the iconic Flatirons in the newly renovated Chautauqua Auditorium, BHFF screens short documentaries about Boulder County made by Boulder-based filmmakers, focusing on the People, Places, and Preservation Efforts in the region.
The festivities begin the evening of Saturday, September 12th, with a Boulder Histories Film Festival Kickoff Party at the historic Odd Fellows Hall on Pearl Street. Doors open at 5:00 PM for wine, drinks, food and mingling, followed at 6:00 PM by a screening of the classic ski film Downhill Racer, starring Robert Redford. From 8:00–10:00 PM, guests can enjoy live music by Al’s Hwy50, featuring Al Laughlin, original member of Boulder band The Samples. Tickets are $95 per person. On sale now at HistoricBoulder.org
