Inspired by Parks & Rec’s Leslie Knope and her iconic Galentine’s Day tradition, this Naturally Colorado gathering will focus on the power of building success together with our local Women in CPG community. Naturally Colorado Board Chair, Carlotta Mast, will share her insights on the power (and joy!) of kinship and reciprocity and guide us through an engaging exercise where participants can share a current need, an offer to contribute, or a way they can support one another. With two decades of experience in the Colorado natural products community, Carlotta has witnessed firsthand the impact of women supporting women. This ethos shaped her 17 years with New Hope Network, as well as her collaboration with other women to launch the JEDI Collaborative, the Climate Collaborative’s Climate Day at Expo West, and other industry initiatives. Plus, like Leslie Knope, Carlotta loves a reason to get together with her girlfriends! Why Attend? Be part of a growing and evolving series that encourages connection and collaboration. Our goal is to create an inclusive space for sharing experiences, learning from one another and building a supportive community within CPG. We aim to start small and build this into a regular gathering that empowers women throughout the CPG industry. What to Expect: An evening spent celebrating Galentine’s with women in the CPG and Natural/Organic Industry! Carlotta Mast will be sharing about her experience and words of wisdom for women in this industry. In addition, to help people meet and figure out how to help each other, we’re asking folks to fill out an “I Have” sticker for things they might have to share (e.g. an old printer, graphic design skills) and/or an “I Need” sticker for things they may need or skills they may be looking for (e.g. a printer, a graphic designer!) These stickers will be optional, of course, but will be available to fill out at the registration table upon arrival. Light snacks and beverages will be provided by Wander & Graze. There will be plenty of options for those with food allergies! Structured networking with topics focused on the power of female relationships as you navigate your career.
