Medicine Horse is a Boulder County nonprofit that provides free or donation-based equine-facilitated psychotherapy and learning sessions while prioritizing exceptional horse care. 

All boarded horses actively Participate in therapy programs, benefiting from a serene facility and reduced boarding rates. This arrangement offers mutual rewards for both horse and owner, fostering connection and meaningful contributions to our mission.

Indoor arena: 60' x 120'

Large outdoor Arena: 100' x 200'

Dedicated to Boarders

Indoor Round Pen: 50'

20 acres of hay fields for riding Oct-Mar.

Daily night check by onsite Care Taker

Easy haul to lots of Boulder area trail riding

Your trainer may work with you and your horse onsite

Trailer parking available

No therapy programs on Sunday/Monday, no restrictions

on when you can be onsite, shared calendar to manage

horse usage.

Horses limited to a maximum of 1 group and 1 individual

session per day, 2 days off per week.

Slow feeder access to hay in turnout, hay bags provided in

runs at turn-in.

Blanketing, fly protection, and grain feeding are included.
