Nick Ryan Gallery presents Recollections, a summer exhibition featuring work by four artists, all working in a representational manner, whose pieces evoke nostalgic memories of the past or are created from memories themselves. The exhibition includes work by Jessica Rohrer, Andrew Watel, Brenda Stumpf, and Daniel Granitto.

Jessica Rohrer and Daniel Granitto’s paintings depict familiar suburban neighborhoods, reminiscent of those many of us grew up in. Brenda Stumpf’s image-transfer paintings incorporate her photographs of architectural structures decaying in natural settings in rural America. Andrew Watel’s drawings and paintings of common household utilitarian objects and tools are created from the artist’s memory.
